About The Position

The SASE Sales Specialist at Palo Alto Networks is responsible for driving the sales of the SASE portfolio, including Prisma Access, Prisma SD-WAN, and Next Gen CASB, across a broad geographic territory of Enterprise accounts in the Western Region of the US. This role involves collaborating with various teams to execute the SASE Go-to-Market plan, providing thought leadership, and enabling scale. The specialist is expected to exceed sales quotas, maintain subject matter expertise, and engage with customers and partners to address critical security challenges.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of field sales experience selling SASE or SD-WAN for a multinational organization.
  • Above quota sales experience in a high-tempo culture.
  • Experience selling network infrastructure-based security appliances, including firewalls and VPNs.
  • Practical experience with routing and switching products adjacent to security appliances.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbally.
  • Experience working with channel partners and understanding a channel-centric go-to-market approach.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work autonomously.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the sale of the Palo Alto Networks SASE portfolio in the Western Region of the US.
  • Engage with customers, partners, and colleagues to promote the SASE portfolio.
  • Perform high-level sales planning and accurate forecasting of the business.
  • Build a fundamental understanding of security threats and solutions.
  • Conduct in-person sessions, webinars, and create learning materials for the audience.
  • Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities within accounts.
  • Educate customers and partners on the modern network security landscape.
  • Establish relationships with and sell through channel partners.
  • Travel 50%+ throughout the Western US and to company-wide meetings.
