About The Position

We're looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented microbiologist to lead environmental monitoring activities in a regulated cleanroom setting. This role combines technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, supporting a team that ensures compliance with GMP and aseptic standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in a regulated lab or cleanroom environment
  • Strong aseptic technique and attention to detail
  • Previous leadership or team coordination experience is a plus
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead and perform environmental monitoring in cleanrooms during aseptic processing and media fills
  • Use tools like particle counters, contact plates, and microbial air samplers
  • Collect and analyze samples from utilities (e.g., WFI, purified water, compressed gases)
  • Read and count microbial plates accurately
  • Enter data into tracking systems and ensure records are complete and compliant
  • Report any unexpected results, deviations, or equipment issues
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized lab environment
  • Support and mentor junior team members
