There are still lots of open positions. Let's find the one that's right for you.
We have an immediate opportunity for an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to build electrical and mechanical subassemblies and integrate them into higher level assemblies used in Semiconductor testing equipment. In this position, you will work with electrical or electronic components, such as modules, circuit boards, wiring harnesses, machined parts, and commercial fasteners. This role involves following repetitive production standards, so we will consider any applicant with manual dexterity and electro-mechanical aptitude. Successful Electro-Mechanical Assembler candidates need to have the ability to use electrical assembly hand tools such as crimpers, cutters, drivers, and soldering tools, as well as mechanical assembly tools like hand drills, wrenches, and drivers. Duties and Responsibilities include the ability to read and interpret BOM's, Work Instructions, Travelers, Blueprints, Routers, and Engineering Change Notices, including Engineering modifications and designs. Mechanical assembly of complex components requires the ability to follow engineering blueprints and assembly sequences with care and accuracy. Fitment and inspection of assembly is necessary to ensure the product has met desired requirements. Electrical assembly of complex components requires a high degree of problem-solving with care and accuracy. You will route, wire, assemble, and install electrical and electronic components in cabinets, electronics enclosures, and on assembled machines to complete the functionality of integrated components according to specifications. This includes cutting wire to specified lengths, using wire cutters, and using a soldering gun and hand tools. You will also crimp terminal eyelets and lugs to wire ends, using hand or machine crimping devices, and conduct functional and continuity tests of electrical assemblies, components, wire harnesses, and plugs using ohmmeters, test lights, and other electrical testing instruments. Additionally, you will perform electrical and mechanical tests on finished products before packaging, maintain a clean and safe workspace, and complete other tasks as necessary.
