About The Position

As a Copper Bus Bar Fabricator in Dynapower's Mechanical Sub-Assembly department, you're responsible for manufacturing copper bus bars used in electrical distribution systems. This involves interpreting technical drawings and operating specialized fabrication equipment, such as punching machines, shears, and bending machines. This is a full-time position with flexible hours, $20-30 per hour start rates, a $2000 signing bonus, and all benefits starting on Day 1!

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical training or certification in metal fabrication, welding, or a related field preferred.
• Experience in metal fabrication, particularly with copper or similar conductive materials, preferred.
• Skills in using fabrication machinery and tools.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical schematics.
• Ability to perform precise measurements and maintain high quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Use engineering drawings and blueprints to determine specifications and dimensions.
• Measure, cut, and form copper materials using hand tools and precision equipment such as punching machines, shears, and bending machines.
• Perform soldering or other joining methods, as required, to assemble bus bar components.
• Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Work closely with engineers, quality control teams, and production staff to optimize fabrication processes.
• Put safety first, all day every day.
