The Coordinator, Vendor Management plays a crucial role in supporting the maintenance and repair operations for stores and buildings within the EssilorLuxottica network. This position is responsible for ensuring that all maintenance activities are conducted in a consistent and cost-effective manner, adhering to the company's high standards of excellence. The Coordinator will work closely with the Managers of Store Maintenance and Facility Managers to manage the portfolio of maintenance providers, ensuring that performance metrics are met and that any issues are escalated appropriately. This role requires a proactive approach to vendor management, including the development of strong relationships with maintenance partners and regular tactical reviews to assess performance and address any concerns. In this position, the Coordinator will utilize the Maintenance Portal database to monitor and manage the execution of maintenance work orders and proposals. They will follow up with vendors to ensure that service level expectations are met and provide after-hours support for emergency and high-priority repairs. The Coordinator will also evaluate vendor performance through the use of a Vendor Scorecard and provide regular feedback to vendors, conducting quarterly KPI reviews to ensure continuous improvement. Additionally, the Coordinator will track costs, quality, and service level performance to align resources for maintaining a best-in-class store environment. The role requires a solid understanding of brand and building strategies, as these directly impact both the store and employee experiences. The Coordinator will actively participate in a network of retail maintenance professionals to benchmark best practices and stay updated on industry trends. Other duties may be assigned by management as needed, making this a dynamic and engaging position within the organization.
