About The Position

The Foundation for California Community Colleges is on a mission to double its impact in the next 10 years. We are a group of relentless optimists and innovators in education, working collaboratively with public and private partners to help improve the student experience and expand pathways to economic and social mobility in communities across California. We are seeking a Technology Coordinator to join the Foundation in its mission of benefitting, supporting, and enhancing the California Community Colleges—the largest and most diverse system of higher education in the nation.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three (3) + years of related work experience in business operations, project management, or administration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Zoom, and other collaboration tools.
  • Experience with Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence, Product Discovery, Service Desk); JIRA for task tracking preferred.
  • Experience setting and achieving Key Performance Indicators.
  • Project management experience required.
  • Agile project management experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Agile project management (Scrum, Kanban) and other project management techniques.
  • Familiarity with Totango or other customer success platforms.
  • Ability to manage contracts, invoices, and administrative workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and prepare technical slide decks, system documentation, and meeting agendas, ensuring materials are ready for leadership review.
  • Assist in project or product analysis, including requirements gathering, interviews, workflow analysis, and data analysis.
  • Gather and analyze data for reporting, including drafting initial technical content and collaborating with team members on final deliverables.
  • Manage project boards and dashboards, keeping tasks current, sending reminders, and ensuring smooth workflow progression through technical pipelines.
  • Utilize tools such as Atlassian Cloud (Jira, Confluence, and more), Google Workspace, and Outlook to manage technical operations, track progress, and ensure timely task execution.
  • Provide front-line assistance to internal and external users by addressing technical inquiries and system-related issues.
  • Deliver training and guidance on new features, tools, or workflows to improve user adoption and satisfaction.
