About The Position
Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Education Services or Designee, the Coordinator- Student Support Services will provide leadership and support in the planning, implementation, evaluation, and coordination of student support services including student mental health, behavior interventions, and special education. This role includes oversight and coordination of mental health supports/programs, behavior response systems, and pupil services to enhance outcomes for all students, particularly those requiring specialized services. The Coordinator will support school sites, staff, and families by ensuring program compliance, providing professional development, and guiding effective educational and behavioral practices, and support the District's reimbursement-based behavioral health service model (e.g., utilizing vendors such as Paradigm) to ensure alignment with student needs, documentation standards, and state and federal reimbursement requirements.
