The Coordinator - Student Engagement/Programs at Middle Tennessee State University is responsible for developing and implementing activities that enhance the community experience for students in the Honors College. This role involves coordinating recruitment initiatives, managing events, and providing classroom support for instructional media technology.

  • Develop and implement activities for student engagement in the Honors College.
  • Coordinate recruitment initiatives for potential Honors College students.
  • Manage application and review processes for Buchanan and Transfer fellowships.
  • Coordinate all Honors College events, including the annual Board of Visitors meeting.
  • Provide classroom support for basic instructional media technology in Honors College classrooms.
  • Coordinate activities and events related to the Circle of Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Two years of progressively responsible experience related to event coordination, project coordination, and basic office or classroom technology support.
  • Experience in higher education student engagement and support.
  • Experience in higher education student recruitment.
