About The Position

The Sleep Center Coordinator assists the Sleep Center Manager in the day-to-day operations of the Sleep Center. This role involves overseeing patient scheduling, monitoring room utilization, maintaining patient flow, educating patients on home sleep studies, and scoring sleep studies as needed. The Coordinator intervenes on issues relating to patient complaints, health care provider concerns, and operational issues. Additionally, the Coordinator ensures that clinical equipment is maintained and in adequate working order, and that the department meets or exceeds internal and external customer expectations while supporting the mission, vision, and values of St. Peter’s Health. The Coordinator also assists the Manager with recommendations for long-term planning for Sleep Center growth, budgeting, and equipment needs. Administrative responsibilities include staff scheduling, quality assurance and quality improvement, assisting with staff selection, onboarding, and retention, staff education and development, staff time and attendance, assisting with regulatory compliance and accreditation, and supporting the Medical Director and Manager as needed.

Requirements

  • Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a sleep center or similar environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle patient complaints and operational issues effectively.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of sleep study scoring and interpretation.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance in healthcare settings.

Responsibilities
