About The Position

This individual must exude professionalism and possess a passion for service while working in support of multiple departments and teams. This position will have a lead role in everything from reservations, contracts, and sales support to room assignments. This position will work full time hours on shifts Monday through Friday from 8AM to 4:30PM and report to the Assistant Manager, Rooms Operations. Must be available for occasional weekends or holidays as business demands dictate.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Hotels Software Opera or other property management hotel systems is a plus.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in an often busy environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to make independent judgment decisions to balance priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to organize space and equipment.
  • Ability to interact with guests in a positive and tactful manner.
  • Ability to operate computers, knowledge of Opera and general knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google suite of products.
  • Sedentary work.

  • Close visual acuity.
  • Not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
  • Administrative office environment

Responsibilities

  • Leads the process for incoming calls and routes guests to the appropriate department.
  • Makes suggestions and oversees the Room and Food & Beverage dining reservations processes.
  • Plans ahead for banquet event orders for special events, internal meetings and site visits.
  • Responsible for room assignments and overall billing.
  • Coordinate the team's efforts in support of sales function to include but not limited to creating/processing contracts, creating/maintaining reporting needs weekly, and processing invoices.
  • Coordinates the efforts to support accounting functions including assisting in AP invoices and monitoring any credit challenges.
  • Will work within the comply software and property management systems to support the property logistical planning.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned and any combination of duties described above.
