About The Position

JOB SUMMARY Responsible for supporting the Revenue Operations division at Universal Kids Resort (UKR) in the day-to-day coordination of business operational activities, procurement of materials/supplies, maintenance of menu collateral and new menu items, and inventory support. Partners with Managers and Assistant Managers to coordinate and ensure an efficient operation of Food and Beverage and Merchandise operations, Team Member Dining and mobile food and drink ordering (MFDO). Assists in coordinating daily changes and labor shortages to ensure adequate staffing requirements for the daily operation and effectively communicates scheduling and staffing daily operational changes. Tracks and audits time and attendance reports to ensure compliance of UKR policies and procedures. Tracks training progress to ensure Revenue Operations Team Members are always current on required training including safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service. Completes reporting/audits in compliance with Frisco Health Department inspections. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Supports Revenue Operations teams including Culinary, Food & Beverage Operations, Merchandise, and Warehouse/Shared Services by organizing daily operational tasks. Partners with front line Team Members to inform on key operational changes to ensure a seamless operation in alignment with Texas state specific requirements and Universal standards. Works with Management to ensure Team Members are utilized in the proper roles in compliance with certifications. Assists in the compilation of department labor information for the company Flash report. Assists Management with rotations and grid creation as needed. Maintains and updates all collateral and menus to ensure the accuracy and show quality standards. Researches, documents, and pulls reports on Point-of-Sale (POS) transactions for accuracy, discrepancies, and routine audits. Informs leadership of any discrepancies in accordance to established procedures. Coordinates and communicates Veritiv audits and records and tracks all health inspections. Assists with communicating and compiling of food safety quality control of allergies to the appropriate teams following all UKR and Frisco policies and regulations. Acts as first point of contact for all scheduling changes such as swaps, days off, vacation requests, callouts, special event coverage, etc. Assists in the daily operations as needed by providing exemplary Guest service at all times. Maintains awareness of potential service cues that could lead to a positive service experience. Performs opening and closing duties such as assisting with daily tasks to front line Team Members, responds to escalated Guest situations as necessary, ensures the proper flow of the operation, and maintains a clean and safe work environment. Assists with overseeing the completion of training checklists and partnering with Management to ensure a Team Member is fully signed off in all safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service, following all Frisco food safety handling requirements. Provides daily “in the moment” feedback on training initiatives. Supports training new and current Team Members on food and beverage policies and procedures and continuous learning initiatives. Provides assistance with administrative functions of the Revenue Operations division including, but not limited to inventory, product assistance, sourcing, onboarding, coordinating regulatory training, compliance reporting, and audits of Frisco required licenses. Assists with compiling new information related to new initiatives to drive the revenue across the theme park. Supports food and beverage related information for special events, catering requests and reservations for private events. Communicates with partners to coordinate functions including securing space, discussing menu options, confirming number of Guests, determining price of menu items, special menu themes, etc. Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Professional Food Managers certification is required.
  • 2+ years of related experience in scheduling, staffing, or administrative support is required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
