About The Position

The Retail Merchandise Coordinator provides critical administrative and operational support across retail merchandising, product development, e‑commerce, planning, and logistics functions. This role ensures the seamless execution of product lifecycle processes—from concept and development through distribution and online availability—while maintaining accurate product data and enabling data‑driven decision‑making. The position requires strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including use of pivot tables to analyze sales, inventory, and assortment data across both retail and digital channels. The coordinator also facilitates cross‑functional communication and reporting to ensure alignment and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Business, Retail Management, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
  • 2–4 years of experience in retail merchandising, product coordination, e-commerce operations, or inventory planning.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and product management or ERP systems.
  • Strong project coordination and organizational skills

  • Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration
  • Process-driven with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to support multiple retail channels including brick-and-mortar and e-commerce

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with e-commerce platforms and product information management (PIM) systems is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Microsoft Excel with proficiency in pivot tables

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate administrative tasks related to the product development lifecycle including item setup, SKU creation, and product data management.
  • Maintain product development calendars and assortment tracking tools.
  • Assist with sample tracking for retail, ecommerce, and HR Bet verticals.
  • Manage product information including specifications, pricing, packaging details, and vendor documentation.
  • Maintain internal merchandising documentation.
  • Partner with customer service and fulfillment teams to address product inquiries, order issues, and backorders.
  • Data analysis and support with Microsoft Excel and pivot table data manipulation.
  • Coordinate inventory transfers and product allocations as needed.
  • Support coordination of inbound shipments and vendor deliveries to distribution centers and retail locations.
  • Track purchase orders, shipment timelines, and delivery confirmations.
  • Work with vendors, logistics partners, and internal teams to ensure timely product availability.
  • Maintain accurate product master data, purchase orders, and vendor records within internal systems.
  • Prepare reporting related to product launches, sales performance, and inventory status.
  • Assist with preparation of line reviews, merchandising presentations, and internal retail meetings.
  • Coordinate cross-functional communication between merchandising, product development, planning, logistics, and e-commerce teams.
