About The Position
Ahold Delhaize USA, a division of global food retailer Ahold Delhaize, is part of the U.S. family of brands, which includes five leading omnichannel grocery brands - Food Lion, Giant Food, The GIANT Company, Hannaford and Stop & Shop. Our associates support the brands with a wide range of services, including Finance, Legal, Sustainability, Commercial, Digital and E-commerce, Technology and more. Administrate and maintain pharmacy software applications that are used in Brand pharmacies to provide patient safety, regulatory compliance, superior customer service and optimal financial performance. Lead the evaluation and user acceptance testing of pharmacy applications to ensure patient safety, regulatory compliance, financial integrity and efficient customer service. Participate in the technical work associated with application upgrades, implementations of new systems or applications and develop required retail communications to support such events. Develop and manage processes to evaluate the stability and safety of the pharmacy applications and improve the performance of pharmacy applications. Develop and facilitate reporting for pharmacy operations, regulatory bodies and departmental needs as required. Serve as the organizational subject matter expert on pharmacy technology and applications deployed in Brand pharmacies.
