About The Position

Eastern Washington University's Chicana/o/x Studies Program (CHST), within the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences, invites applications for a 12-month, 100% Coordinator/Recruiter for its Chicana/o/x Studies Program. Responsibilities

  • Recruit new students to the Chicana/o/x Studies Program.
  • Provide counseling and advising services to promote student retention.
  • Assist with operational, administrative, and outreach responsibilities of the program.
  • Provide academic support services and advocate for students.
  • Represent the program at various functions and events.
  • Develop and improve program operations to enhance student satisfaction and retention.
  • Seek grants and external funding in collaboration with the Program Director.
  • Participate in training and facilitate workshops.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and monitor program activities.
