About The Position

We’re looking for a Coordinator, PR Data Insights to join our growing team. As a Coordinator, PR Data Insights, you’ll work with our PR, trading, business intelligence and social teams. You’ll help coordinate BetMGM’s data marketing efforts to drive earned media. A successful candidate needs to have a strong knowledge of sports, with an interest and/or background in data analytics. Previous experience and interest in sports betting are a plus. Ideally you have an eye for detail and a mind that is both analytical and creative. You are also a self-starter who takes joy in problem solving, especially when data is involved.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1+ years of experience in the sports/sports media space involving data.
• In-depth understanding of sports betting is essential.
• Strong knowledge of sports leagues and rules.
• Strong knowledge of current sporting events and relevant media storylines.
• Ability to interpret, navigate and explain data.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office especially Excel.
• Availability to work on nights and weekends.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with graphic design and data visuals.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and compile odds, line movement, and notable betting information for the NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, PGA, and numerous other league events and markets to shape BetMGM’s brand image, awareness, and narrative on various media.
• Satisfy media and press inquiries concerning sportsbook information and notable betting statistics.
• Produce and present summarizations of betting data and media coverage to showcase media presence and industry growth.
• Communicate cross functionally to ensure integrity, legal compliance, accuracy of data, and a positive public image.
