About The Position

The Coordinator - PI (Non RN) - Quality Assurance at Knapp Medical Center is responsible for assisting in the coordination, integration, and implementation of organization-wide performance improvement activities. This role ensures compliance with company policies and state/federal regulatory and accreditation standards, focusing on quality outcomes and staff education regarding core measures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare-related field preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access) and excellent computer skills.
• Detail-oriented organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple cases and follow through on directions.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with clinical staff communication is essential.
• Excellent interpersonal relationship skills and professional work ethics.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the coordination and implementation of performance improvement activities.
• Conduct chart reviews and data abstraction for CMS Core Measures and other quality outcomes studies.
• Educate staff regarding core measures and updates on new and enhanced indicators.
• Collaborate with the manager/director of Performance Improvement to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
