About The Position
The Permit to Work Coordinator reports to the Operations Superintendent & Shift Supervisors of Process & Power Island and is a focal point for all work activities involving permit coordination of the Venture Global Plaquemines liquefied natural gas facility. This is a safety sensitive position intended to provide employees a career path in developing a higher level of experience with internal company safety procedures and controls. This vital role is responsible for implementing the Permit to Work system to support operational safety and compliance policies, procedures, and forms. PTW Coordinator will provide guidance to operations, maintenance & contractor personnel on completion of appropriate permits to perform work. The incumbent will possess skills in completing Job Hazard Analysis, understand HAZOP's, Lock-Out-Tag-Out and all safety related policies and procedures.
