As Coordinator of Payroll, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and seamless processing of our bi-weekly payroll. You will serve as the go-to expert for all payroll-related inquiries, maintaining a warm and friendly demeanor while delivering exceptional service to our team members. Requirements

  • 1-2 years of work experience, preferably with an HRIS or Payroll team.
  • Exposure to both salaried and hourly team members.
  • Experience with multi-state payroll is a plus.
  • Skilled in Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Process bi-weekly payroll with exceptional accuracy and remarkable precision.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with partners at ADP to ensure smooth, compliant, and predictable payroll runs.
  • Establish reliable audit routines for accurate calculations of benefit deductions, time off, parental leave, and final pays.
  • Support ad hoc requests for unemployment claims, employment verifications, quarterly and year-end payroll tax reviews, and report submissions.
  • Handle off-cycle payrolls promptly and skillfully, taking proactive steps to prevent future discrepancies.
  • Ensure accurate HRIS setup for new hires and support team members with updates to personal and payroll-related information.
  • Manage time clock enrollment for team members and maintain access without disruption.
  • Leverage ADP/Workforce Now and Excel to generate, customize, and analyze payroll and labor data.
  • Ensure payroll data aligns with established processes and compliance requirements.
  • Provide proactive communication to resolve payroll inquiries and ensure accuracy and understanding.
  • Validate accuracy of timecards and pay codes, including shift differentials and premium pay.
