The Operations Coordinator will manage the Round Rock Multipurpose Complex, overseeing daily operations, events, and personnel. This role involves ensuring the facility's efficient functioning, coordinating events, and maintaining high standards of service and safety.

  • Oversee daily operations, including facility and equipment usage, inspections, and risk management assessments.
  • Coordinate scheduling for all facility events and programs.
  • Hire, train, supervise, schedule, and evaluate Assistant Operations Coordinator and other part-time staff.
  • Provide on-site coordination of special events and programs, including arranging services and providing technical support.
  • Develop, interpret, and apply policies and procedures related to the facility.
  • Document facility operation, maintenance, and cleaning procedures.
  • Coordinate capital improvement projects and manage equipment purchases and repairs.
  • Manage outside service companies for maintenance and facility services, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Oversee contract services and vendor negotiations, ensuring compliance with service agreements.
  • Assist in developing and managing the facility operating budget.
  • Prepare long-term strategy programs to enhance operating efficiencies and reduce costs.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Recreation, Sport Management or closely related field required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of facility management/supervisory experience required.
  • Experience in athletic or recreational facility management, event coordination, and personnel administration preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Strong public relations, organizational, planning, and computer skills required.
  • Ability to manage in a diverse environment with a focus on customer service required.
  • Willingness to work event-based hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Master's Degree preferred.
  • Experience in managing recreational activities preferred.
  • Competitive salary range of $61,900.80 - $77,376.00 annually.
