The Coordinator of Student Organizations & Innovation Initiatives plays a key role in creating a dynamic, engaging campus experience through the planning, promotion, and execution of both small- and large-scale student events and programs. This position is highly hands-on and student-facing, combining event planning with student organization support to design experiences that reflect student interests, encourage participation, and foster connection, leadership, and innovation outside the classroom. In this role, the coordinator partners closely with students to develop creative programming ideas, advises student organizations in their ideas from concept to reality, manages budgets and timelines, and collaborates with campus offices to deliver high-quality co-curricular experiences. Success in this position requires strong organizational skills, creativity, an understanding of student engagement trends, and the ability to generate excitement and attendance around campus activities. Evening and weekend hours are required to support student programming.
