About The Position

St. Michael the Archangel Parish in Silver Spring Maryland is hiring a part-time Coordinator of Religious Education. The position is structured for 15 to 18 hours per week.

Requirements

• Practicing Catholic committed to the teachings of the Church.
• At least two years parish experience as a catechetical leader.
• Degree in Religious Education or Catechesis preferred.
• Must be highly detail oriented.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office necessary.
• Familiarity with Parish Soft is helpful.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Knowledge of and commitment to the Archdiocesan Faith Formation Guidelines.
• Experience in parish formation programs.
