Field based position responsible for increased levels of revenue attainment and resolution of cases involving continuing provision of ZOLL products/services with physicians, other healthcare professionals and support staff. The position involves visiting ZOLL customers and accounts in the field to ensure continuity of provision of ZOLL’s medical devices for clinically appropriate cases. The role requires determining independently and working collaboratively with office staff/healthcare providers to bring patient’s cases to attention, prioritizing competing objectives based on independent clinical acumen and knowledge of ZOLL’s medical devices. The position also involves collaborating with ZOLL TM/RM to ensure appropriate service levels for patients, managing follow-up processes, maintaining knowledge of payor requirements, providing education and training to hospital and office staff, and achieving performance metrics while complying with healthcare regulations.

  • Visit ZOLL customers and accounts in the field to ensure continuity of provision of ZOLL’s medical devices.
  • Determine independently and work collaboratively with office staff/healthcare providers to bring patient’s cases to attention.
  • Prioritize competing objectives based on independent clinical acumen and knowledge of ZOLL’s medical devices.
  • Utilize individualized analysis and the Plan of Care to make providers aware of patient’s next level of care.
  • Collaborate with ZOLL TM/RM to ensure appropriate service levels for patients.
  • Manage the follow-up process with other departments to drive efficiencies within the payer’s environment.
  • Maintain working knowledge of potential clinical and other value propositions based on ZOLL products and services.
  • Ensure timely processing of required documentation to prevent delays in service provision.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of payor requirements to increase reimbursement payments.
  • Provide ongoing education and training to hospital and office staff on medical device order requirements.
  • Achieve and maintain acceptable performance metrics.
  • Comply with Standard Operating Procedures and maintain knowledge of applicable healthcare regulations.
  • Participate in any reasonable work activities as assigned by management.
  • High School Diploma / GED required.
  • Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience in sales.
  • Healthcare/Medical Device (Clinical or Billing) experience preferred.
  • Ability to navigate Hospital and Clinic/Practice environments.
  • Ability to proactively plan and work autonomously.
  • High sense of urgency and flexibility to one’s schedule.
  • Superior organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Problem solving mentality, while being accountable for each task from beginning to end.
  • Proficient working knowledge of MS Office and Customer Relationship Management systems.
  • Effective team player who is also capable of working independently with strong self-motivation.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
