About The Position

The Coordinator of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) is responsible for organizing professional development and learning opportunities to implement and monitor a district-wide multi-tiered system of supports. This role ensures that students' academic and behavioral needs are identified and supported, enabling them to reach their full potential. The Coordinator collaborates with central office leadership, various departments, and school personnel to facilitate the effective implementation of MTSS.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or higher in education required.
  • Administrator or supervisor certificate (Type 75) required.
  • At least five years of successful teaching and/or student support personnel experience required.
  • Knowledge and experience with Functional Behavioral Assessment and implementation of behavioral interventions/programs.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience providing professional development preferred.
  • Experience or training in learning strategies preferred.
  • Successful completion of the state MTSS training preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, manipulate, and transform complex datasets from multiple sources using analysis tools such as Tableaux, NWEA, mClass Amplify, and Illuminate.
  • Evaluate MTSS data for structural integrity and consistency.
  • Create and customize MTSS reports for each school.
  • Utilize MTSS data visualization techniques to present findings to stakeholders and school-based teams.
  • Identify MTSS trends and patterns in data to support strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to uncover underlying factors contributing to observed trends.
  • Assist District and school-based leadership teams in the use of 4-step problem solving.
  • Provide coaching and supervision of District MTSS Specialists and SEL specialists.
  • Support schools in improving student achievement through data analysis and instructional next steps.
  • Assist school-based leadership teams in purchasing and distributing support materials.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and school district laws and regulations.
