About The Position

The following statements reflect the general duties considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job as identified and shall not be considered as a detailed description of all the work requirements, which may be inherent in the position. The primary responsibilities of the Marketing Coordinator are: (1) Planning and executing activities associated with the growth and maintenance of the HealthyHer membership and programs including SmartStart for area 5 th and 6 th grade students. (2) Participating in the planning and support the execution of ancillary activities and events including, among many others, Marshall County Youth Leadership and LifeSouth Blood Drives. (3) Managing social media for Marshall Medical Centers and participating physician offices. (4) Contributing to the development of stories about Marshall Medical Centers, its services, physicians and patients for use as press releases and in a variety of publications. (5) Developing and maintaining community relationships through active public relations outreach and activities. (4) Supporting internal projects that contribute to successful daily operations of Marshall Medical Centers and (5) Functioning as a team member by demonstrating willingness to make contributions toward all of the projects, events and activities of the marketing department

Requirements

  • B.S. in Marketing and/or Communications and/or Public Relations.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office – including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Must demonstrate proof of ability and experience as a writer.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with InDesign a plus.
