This position will serve the Director of Bands and Marching Band Director to include: University Bands. The Coordinator of Band Logistics will report directly to the Director of Bands and will be responsible for handling a wide range of administrative, managerial and executive support related to tasks. This person must perform with a high level of professionalism, confidentiality and discretion. While providing a high level of support to the Director, this incumbent will assist in coordination logistics and some administrative tasks, in addition to promoting community outreach for University Bands, and overseeing the daily functions of the media team, special projects, fundraisers and its daily submissions.

  • Assist and coordinate all band travel needs
  • Assist and coordinate all band events
  • Arrange the cleaning of uniforms
  • Communicate with vendors for purchases and receiving
  • Oversee the media team
  • Assist the Director of Bands with coordinating and creating programs to attract and recruit students
  • Organize visits and community outreach programs to assist entities and organizations
  • BS or MS degree
  • Experience in travel logistics, event planning, and coordination
  • Valid Driver's License
