About The Position

In this role, you will handle unreleased finished goods, WIP, and raw materials outside the clean room including unloading, packaging, pallet loading, and readying them for shipment.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Packages unreleased components following written instruction provided by Quality/Engineering.
Utilizes scanning technology and computer systems to correctly pallet load and move product in our inventory system.
Inventories all necessary packaging supplies and reconciles the physical inventory with the inventory listed in the system.
Assembles, marks, opens, weighs, counts and verifies various materials, product(s), and supplies, palletize and shrink-wrap product.
Operates forklift to stack or tier items stored in the warehouse. Loads and unloads trucks when necessary.
Contribute to continuous process improvement efforts to reduce scrap, cycle times, improve efficiency, and eliminate waste within the production environment.
Maintains a clean, orderly, and safe workstation and environment always.
Performs other duties as assigned based on business needs.

Requirements

• High School or equivalent
• 0-3 years of experience
• Must be able to work assigned shift(s) with overtime as required to complete assignments if necessary.
• Sitting and/or standing for extended periods may occur as well as getting to and from offices and building sites.
• If specifically necessitated by customer requirements, must be able to see with or without corrective lenses and distinguish color differences for product and safety issues.
• Hearing ability should be sufficient to hear and react to audible alarms from distances up to 150 feet.
• The ability to be able to lift and carry various items up to 50 pounds for manufacturing positions or 30 pounds for administrative positions is required.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum 1 year as an operator.
• Experience with cGMP purchasing practices, ISO, and medical device manufacturing.
