The Coordinator, Communications and Marketing will play an integral role in supporting all functions aligned with the Communications and Marketing divisionâs focus on building awareness of and excitement for the Lucas Museum to a wide array of audiences in the lead up to and after the museumâs opening. Reporting to the Manager of Marketing, the Coordinator will play a key role in knitting together the various activities of the division. They will assist with a wide range of projects, engage with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, and coordinate a variety of projects to engage internal and external audiences with the museum. They will be an excellent communicator and able to work easily with a wide range of working and personality styles. As a thought partner to the team, the Coordinator will contribute to the development of communications and marketing initiatives that will build a rhythm of external activities from now through the opening to bring the Lucas Museum to life for the public. The ideal candidate will have proven work experience as a coordinator or similar role within a marketing and communications team, knowledge of traditional and digital communications and marketing tools, and familiarity with CRM systems, email communications tools, project management tools, digital asset management, and website content management systems. Experience in creating social media content and using the Adobe Creative Suite are desired. The Coordinator will maintain deep awareness of activities across the division, helping to facilitate the execution of programmatic goals and operations that bear out the museumâs mission, vision, and values.
