Works with the Director and leadership team of the Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment (CIA) Department to lead the district’s work in Curriculum, Instructional, Assessment, and Professional Learning needs at a district, regional, feeder and individual school level aligned to the goals of the district in order to improve student performance. Provides leadership and support to and responds to the needs of teachers, teacher leaders, Professional Learning Specialists (PLS) and Building Leadership Teams (BLT) and Leaders in the areas of curriculum, instruction, assessment and professional learning. ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: ● Occasional lifting five (5) to ten (10) pounds ● Frequent sitting ● Occasional bending, squatting, or standing ESSENTIAL ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: Mostly clean and comfortable
