The Coordinator, Instructional Technology & Design role in the Center for Development and Leadership (CDL) is pivotal in supporting Alamance Community College's curriculum and workforce development/continuing education efforts by collaborating with faculty and staff to enhance teaching and learning experiences. The position provides support, training, and assistance related to designing within the Learning Management System (LMS). Additionally, this position will contribute to enhancing academic excellence across various teaching modes, including online, hybrid, and face-to-face classroom settings, and work in coordination with the Director of Distance Learning and the VP of Workforce and Economic Development. The Coordinator, Instructional Technology & Design's responsibilities shall include but are not limited to collaborating closely with faculty to design and develop courses, leading professional development initiatives, providing employee and student training and support, and ensuring digital accessibility compliance while adhering to the Alamance Community College (ACC) online course standards, performing quality assurance reviews, and integrating instructional design principles, educational technology, and evidence-based teaching practices to enhance student learning and success.
