The inbound domestic transportation coordinator is responsible for providing support for all domestic inbound transportation activities. This role involves various essential functions including the application of Accessorial charges to shipments in TMS, scheduling, tracking, and tracing of orders. The coordinator will enter and verify vendor routing requests, archive orders, and review them in RDM. Additionally, they will schedule live unload appointments at all distribution centers, investigate and resolve issues related to the domestic movement of freight, and provide support to inbound planners as needed. The coordinator may also serve as a point of contact for pending operational items on the 'Freight Payment Issues Log' and is responsible for system entry of approved accessorial charges on shipments within TMS. Monitoring the Ross-Ship-Cost email box for accessorial entry requests, carrier invoices, and approval notifications is also part of the role. Providing superior customer service to vendors, carriers, and distribution centers is crucial, as well as assisting with any projects requested by the Inbound International and Domestic Supervisor(s) and Manager.
