About The Position

Responsibilities include performing daily administrative support for the operation of the department. Provides advice, information, and support regarding established policy and procedures to faculty and staff within the department. Accountable to the Administrative Operations Manager in ensuring all departmental and organizational policies, process and procedures are followed. Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions Coordinates daily operations of the office. Provides non-clinical assistance for all faculty in the division(s) assigned to support. Gathers data and prepares divisional reports and slides. Manages multiple department memberships and licenses for all faculty. Submits reimbursements, invoices, and other payables as needed. Maintains budgetary records for the department. Plans, schedules, and supervises all arrangements for divisional meetings including conferences, seminars, site visits, and other divisional functions for assigned division(s). Assists with department event planning. Coordination and scheduling of medical student rotations. Proofread and publish call schedule provided by division directors. Evaluate need for office supplies and purchasing of said supplies in a cost-effective manner with maintenance of books for office expenses. Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department. Answer and direct calls, sort and deliver mail, stock physician lounges, and send faxes. Requirements

  • Two years of college
  • Experience may be substituted for education on a year for year basis

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 2 or more years of administrative experience including one year with a health care organization
