Our Fire Alarm Service Coordinator team plays a vital role in ensuring our technicians are efficiently scheduled and routed to provide exceptional service to our customers. Position Overview: As a Fire Alarm Service Coordinator I, you will be instrumental in enhancing customer satisfaction by effectively managing technician schedules and resolving service issues. We are looking for an organized, proactive team player eager to learn and grow within the fire and life safety industry. Your ability to build relationships and provide outstanding service will be key to your success in this role.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in customer support or as a client service representative is essential.
  • Strong active listening skills and a personable presence on the phone and in the office.
  • Ability to adapt to varying customer situations and needs.
  • Clear and effective communication skills to collaborate with customers, technicians, sales personnel, and management.
  • Exceptional multitasking, prioritization, and time management abilities to meet our customers' fire safety needs.
  • Proficient in computer usage, with a typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Reliable attendance is crucial to ensure customer needs are consistently met.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming and outgoing calls to schedule services and repairs, ensuring a smooth experience for our customers.
  • Create and optimize daily routes for assigned technicians, utilizing our company’s software for order entry and dispatching.
  • Assess customer needs through phone and email interactions to deliver satisfactory solutions.
  • Foster strong relationships with customer accounts through proactive and professional communication.
  • Provide accurate and comprehensive information using the appropriate tools and methods.
  • Address customer complaints effectively, offering suitable solutions or alternatives.
  • Adhere to communication procedures, guidelines, and policies to maintain consistency.
  • Assist with special projects or issues that arise within the fire and safety industry.
  • Uphold integrity and values consistent with Fox Valley Fire & Safety’s mission.
