About The Position

The HR Coordinator at NBCUniversal will provide essential transactional HR support within the Sports Division, focusing on onboarding, talent mobility, performance management, and talent attraction and development. This role is pivotal in ensuring a smooth new hire experience and managing HR processes effectively, contributing to a dynamic and inclusive workplace culture.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of work experience in HR or related fields.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Transactional experience using HR systems.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare job descriptions for open positions and post them on nbcunicareers.com.
  • Facilitate the new hire onboarding process, including generating offer letters and processing background checks.
  • Process new hires in SAP and complete I-9 verifications for new employees.
  • Partner with hiring managers to ensure a smooth new hire experience.
  • Process HRIS transactions such as hires, personal data changes, promotions, and terminations.
  • Serve as the primary user for all HR systems, including SAP and SmartRecruiters.
  • Run recurring and ad hoc reports and analyze HR metrics on attrition, performance, diversity, etc.
  • Liaise with business partners including Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, and Finance to resolve employee issues.
  • Assist with annual processes such as performance reviews, salary planning, and benefits open enrollment.
  • Stay updated on new regulations, company policies, and procedures.
