About The Position

The Coordinator, Growth Marketing at the Cleveland Cavaliers is responsible for supporting the organization's Communications, Digital, and Marketing Teams in developing and executing email and SMS marketing campaigns. This role focuses on optimizing existing marketing programs and creating new initiatives to enhance the omni-channel marketing strategy. The position requires a detail-oriented and creative individual who can manage marketing calendars, coordinate creative assets, and analyze campaign performance to drive engagement and retention.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 1-3 years' experience with email and online marketing preferred.
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS, preferably with experience specific to emails.
  • Knowledge of email best practices and CAN-SPAM compliance.
  • Experience with Adobe Web Premium programs such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver is preferred.
  • Familiarity with responsive email design is a plus.
  • Project management skills to manage calendars and creative assets within a deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and game nights as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with omni-channel marketing efforts by optimizing for conversion, engagement, and retention across email, SMS, and chatbot technology.
  • Maintain the email marketing calendar and manage email production for the organization's teams and arena.
  • Coordinate creative assets with the design team to ensure email content is on brand and consistent in style and quality.
  • Lead the QA process to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and consistency of all executed campaigns.
  • Implement and refine UTM tracking and other link tracking initiatives to monitor sales performance and optimize campaigns based on data insights.
  • Communicate monthly KPI reports to highlight performance trends and sales revenue from email and SMS marketing efforts.
  • Ensure deliverables and email/SMS deployments stay on schedule.
  • Assist with email and SMS signup acquisition and generation strategy.
  • Analyze user feedback across email, SMS, and chatbot channels to identify areas for improvement.
