The Coordinator for Fraternity and Sorority Life (FSL) provides vision and leadership for all aspects of fraternity and sorority life at the University. They develop programs and initiatives and work with various internal and external constituents to enhance the quality of the fraternity and sorority experience. The Coordinator of FSL oversees long and shortârange goal and strategy development, program planning, marketing, expansion and assessment for Greek Councils under their advisement. They are responsible for collecting, tracking, and analyzing data and developing policy recommendations based on this research. They will work with Fraternity and Sorority alumni, chapter advisors, community groups and individual fraternities and sororities. The staff of Student Engagement provides leadership and advising on issues unique to the FSL community, onâcampus FSL programming, and risk and liability management. This position will work closely with the Student Engagement staff towards unification with the Interfraternity Council, National Pan-Hellenic Council, Multicultural Greek Council and Panhellenic Association. The Coordinator of FSL will advise student leaders on the development and implementation of programs, applicable policies and procedures, risk management, leadership development and organization management. Advising and programming should use a holistic approach with emphasis on enhancing individual and student organization development. Knowledge and understanding of fraternity and sorority systems, national and regional trends, policies, procedures, governance, organizational development and recruitment processes. The position requires considerable evening, weekend and on call commitments.
