About The Position

The Coordinator/Executive Assistant for Finance & Administration at the College of Southern Nevada is responsible for oversight, coordination, management, and administration of the Office of the Vice President for Finance and Administration. This position involves the day-to-day operation of the VP's office, including assisting in the development and application of policies, tracking office and departmental budgets, and acting as the initial point of contact for internal and external clients. The role also includes handling issues and complaints, providing recommendations for solutions, and supporting the VP with travel arrangements, meeting scheduling, and expense reports. The incumbent will interact with various stakeholders, including college personnel, students, and community leaders, and will assist in financial processes, data analysis, and coordination with auditors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field from an accredited college/university; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3 years of related or comparable professional experience.

Nice To Haves

  • 5 years of comparable professional experience.
  • Knowledge of NSHE Board of Regents processes.
  • Experience with trending analysis.

Responsibilities
