The Distribution Systems & Inventory Coordinator at Hermès of Paris Inc. plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of inventory management across various business channels, including Retail, Wholesale, and E-Commerce. This position involves close collaboration with the warehouse team to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies between physical counts and the inventory management system. The Coordinator will be responsible for processing necessary inventory transfers to maintain balance, ensuring that every physical movement of inventory is accurately recorded in the system. This includes tracking merchandise on loan, following up on outstanding loans, and processing required transfers. Additionally, the Coordinator will monitor stock repairs, report vendor receiving discrepancies, and file claims to reconcile any receiving errors. The role requires maintaining a schedule for cycle counts, communicating challenges encountered during these counts, and organizing the count process with management and staff. The Coordinator will also be responsible for inventory reconciliation, working closely with Loss Prevention, Sales teams, and Distribution Center Management to prepare for bi-annual inventories. This includes investigating discrepancies between physical and system inventories and reporting findings. The position is based onsite at the Dayton, NJ Distribution and Service Centers and may require overtime and a flexible schedule during peak periods, including extended holiday hours.
