The Department of Disability Resources for Students has an outstanding opportunity for a Coordinator – Disability Resources for Students (Program Coordinator (NE S SEIU 925 Non Supv)) to join their team. DRS serves as a partner in fostering an inclusive and equitable environment for all University of Washington students. This position reports to the DRS Director and is part of a department with a federal mandate to determine, implement, and facilitate accommodations for students with documented disabilities. This work involves interaction among complex systems in an increasingly technical field, ensuring compliance with federal and state statutes, and collaboration with individuals from varied backgrounds across the UW tri-campus community to facilitate equal access and inclusion for students with disabilities. The Coordinator – Disability Resources for Students will serve as the primary individual staffing the in-person DRS office and testing center, responsible for administering academic testing accommodations and directly supporting students and their instructors with a variety of concerns. Successful candidates will work well both independently and as part of a team to ensure consistent, excellent service and operations.
