About The Position

Responsible for overseeing the nursing plan of care for patients within the assigned specialty. Responsible to see that the nursing plan of care meets the physiological, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patients served. Directs patient care through performance and/or leadership of subordinate personnel. Assists in the coordination of patient care through the appropriate utilization of all resources: staff, equipment, supplies, etc. As an expert in the assigned specialty, is a resource person to both medical center staff and physicians.

Requirements

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse to practice nursing in Michigan or a certified cardiovascular technologist
• Possess minimum of 2 years related unit experience (Cardiovascular, Cath Lab)
• Minimum 2 years of demonstrated leadership performance
• Demonstrated experience in team building skills, self-directed work teams

Nice To Haves

• Certified in Unit Specialty Organization.
• Bachelors Degree in Nursing, Health Care Field or equivalent degree/certification.
