The Cargo Warehouse Logistics Coordinator supervises and supports the logistics of the supply chain responsible for providing customer intermodal cross dock and warehousing services including receiving, sorting, staging, scanning, and dispatching of airfreight, air mail, e-commerce and other cargo at air freight docks and cargo facilities. Daily review of flash report submitted via business partner software platform from prior shift. Identify and escalate open cases to local management. Submit Delay Details / 5-Why information via business partner software platform within 6-hour deadline Outbound.

  • Check inbound flight load plan and calculate needed outbound line haul trailers.
  • Submit ad-hoc requests if needed to capture all outbound volume in advance of flight arrival.
  • Assign trucks to dock doors using Yard Management System.
  • Complete BOL paperwork and check trailers into and out of building Communication.
  • Update down-stream facilities (AMZL and Sort Center locations) of any late departing loads or required ad-hoc scheduled trailers.
  • Communicate with ROC on any impacted trailer delays or ad-hoc scheduling requirements.
  • Communicate with NCC on any impacted flight delays, rolled freight, or situations impacting flight performance (weather, unserviceable equipment, etc.).
  • Escalate to GM and Regional Gateway Manager (RGM) risks to safety, quality, productivity, or customer promise per escalation matrix.

  • Maintain truck control log to be attached to flash report.
  • Track open cases that impact following shift.
  • Routine cleaning of work areas, ramps, equipment and facilities with or without powered equipment.
  • Other duties and functions related to the foregoing.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, percent and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
