In this role, you will be responsible for patient throughput by managing the bed flow process according to the needs of our patients and campuses. You will review all bed requests from the ED, OR/PACU, Procedural areas, and Transfer Center and collaborate with medical and nursing staff in these departments to optimize patient flow throughout our system. The work you will be doing will make a tremendous impact in helping improve patient flow and decrease wait time for bed placements at our facilities! Develop and Grow your Career!   • Manage the bed flow process according to the needs of patients and campuses.
  • Review all bed requests from the ED, OR/PACU, Procedural areas, and Transfer Center.
  • Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to optimize patient flow throughout the system.
  • 3-5 years working in a healthcare related field is required.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Clinical experience required.
  • Degree in a health-related field is preferred.
