About The Position

The Business Outreach Coordinator supports the day-to-day execution of outreach and revenue-related initiatives. This role works closely with the business development, events, and partnership teams to assist with outreach activities, event execution, travel planning, CRM data management, and documentation of internal procedures. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a high degree of flexibility. World Trade Center Utah (WTC Utah) accelerates growth for Utah businesses through our global network, programs, and services. Our business development and outreach efforts are central to building relationships, driving engagement, and connecting companies to international opportunities that position Utah as a global business hub.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 1–3 years of experience in business development support, outreach, program coordination, events, or operations.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail, particularly with CRM data entry and documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and collaborative work style.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, mission-driven nonprofit environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and execution of WTC Utah events that support business outreach goals.
  • Assist the events team with logistics, preparation, on-site support, and post-event follow-up.
  • Support the Chief Revenue Officer in planning and coordinating logistics for business development travel, including the Australia business trip.
  • Assist business development efforts through outreach support, follow-up coordination, and activity tracking.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in Salesforce to support outreach and pipeline visibility.
  • Support reporting and tracking related to outreach activities.
  • Assist in documenting Salesforce procedures and internal outreach team processes.
  • Coordinate across outreach, events, and business development functions to support timelines and deliverables.
  • Provide administrative and project support to the Outreach team as priorities evolve.
  • Track tasks, deadlines, and follow-ups to ensure outreach initiatives move forward efficiently.
  • Identify opportunities to improve outreach workflows, documentation, and data accuracy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of business development and outreach
