About The Position
Primary Purpose: Direct and manage the campus extracurricular athletic program and oversee football program. Provide instruction and coach students to develop skills and ability to excel in sport (s) assigned. Contribute to education as a whole and to growth of students involved in athletics.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Valid Texas Teaching certificate
- Current first aid, CPR & AED certification
- Knowledge of coaching techniques and procedures
- Knowledge of University Interscholastic League (UIL) rules
- Ability to instruct and supervise student athletes
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience working as a High School Offensive or Defensive Coordinator
- Head Football Coaching experience (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Direct the athletic work of coaches on assigned campus
- Assign and oversee assistant coaches & student athletic assistants work completion
