The Coordinator, Birth Parent Services and Outreach work closely with the Senior Manager to support birth and expectant parents by providing options counseling, education in the adoption process, psychosocial histories, hospital and community visits, infant discharges, meetings with adoptive families, assistance with placements or returns, and referrals to community resources. The role also advances Spence‑Chapin’s Domestic Adoption Programs by delivering outreach and education throughout Upstate New York, supporting recruitment of prospective birth parent clients, training healthcare providers, schools, religious organizations, and social service agencies, and collecting data to strengthen outreach efforts. The ideal candidate is an effective communicator with strong organizational and writing skills who excels in building positive relationships. This full-time, in-person position requires work within Upstate, New York and offers a salary of $63,000–$72,000, commensurate with experience.
