About The Position

Palmdale Regional Medical Center serves the region by providing high quality medical services to residents of the Antelope Valley, Santa Clarita Valley and surrounding communities. The Rehabilitation Institute, the hospital features 184 licensed acute care beds as well as inpatient and outpatient surgery, an Advanced Primary Stroke Center, cardiac services featuring a STEMI Receiving Center (heart attack) and a 35-bed 24-hour emergency department. Requirements

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, patients and the general public.
  • Ability to perform basic math.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical/clinical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Previous experience and/or training in inventory control preferred but will train.
  • Familiar with medical supplies a plus.
  • High school graduation required.
  • CPI is required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Receives all incoming supplies
  • Fills orders, and distributes within Hospital
  • Handles outgoing mail, and performs shipping duties.
