  • Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field.
  • In lieu of Bachelor’s degree, an Associate’s degree in Medical Technology with 10 years of clinical lab experience may be accepted.
  • Advanced knowledge of laboratory techniques and procedures.
  • Ability to perform procedures requiring judgment with minimal supervision.
  • Recognize abnormal results or testing problems and discuss with supervisor, physician, or medical director.
  • Investigate and solve complex problems.
  • Prioritize tasks and organize workflow.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and computer skills.
  • Excellent decision-making skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to handle stressful situations professionally.
  • Supervisors License from State of Florida in all 5 areas.
  • ASCP certification preferred.
