About The Position

This Cooling Tower Service Technician will assist with the construction, erection, installation and repair of the structures and fixtures related to cooling towers. Our most successful Cooling Tower Service Technicians possess superior communication, analytical, and organizational skills, exhibit goal-oriented behaviors and time management principles, apply extensive attention to detail to all tasks, possess experience and knowledge working with Cooling Towers and related equipment, work outdoors in varying weather conditions and heights, and have the ability to work independently. They should be familiar with industrial tools and equipment, able to read and interpret diagrams and schematics, and must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted and 100 lbs. assisted. A High school diploma / GED equivalent is required, and candidates must be able to pass background and reference checks, as well as a drug test.

Requirements

• High school diploma / GED equivalent
• Experience and knowledge working with Cooling Towers and related equipment
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and heights
• Ability to work independently
• Familiar with industrial tools and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret diagrams and schematics; able to read drawings, blueprints, and sketches
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted and 100 lbs. assisted
• Must be able to pass background and reference checks, as well as a drug test

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment
• Install, assemble, adjust, and start up new equipment and accessories
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Perform all other duties as assigned
