About The Position

This position organizes service calls from call-takers and dispatches calls to service technicians in an efficient manner. Provides assistance to Service Technicians by dispatching information of repair of company equipment and notify customers of ETA, hold for parts and status of repair order.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous experience with paging systems (Nextel preferred).
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to prioritize tasks along with service calls.
  • Knowledge of area geography a plus.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Strong data entry skills and 10 key calculation skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of area geography a plus.
  • Previous experience with paging systems (Nextel preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Receive and dispatch service calls.
  • Dispatch service calls based on priority level.
  • Communicate with sales regarding full-service accounts and potential opportunities.
  • Contact service technicians dispatching calls in a timely and prioritized manner.
  • Establish delivery schedule with customers.
  • Reassign calls based on availability of technicians.
  • Run daily call-count report.
  • Maintain consistent contact with Cooler Service Supervisor and Cooler Service Manager.
  • Fill in for other Dispatchers as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
