Job Summary: This job position includes the planning, picking, loading, and finalizing of finished goods trailers, and onsite/offsite driving responsibilities. For candidates based in New York State, this position starts at $26.32 per hour Schedule: 6:30am - 3:00pm Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. This is a union position, covered under Teamsters Local 294 Union Job Essentials - Candidates will be required to understand the following operational needs: They must be proficient in the EWM/SAP system to place finished packaged products into open warehousing slots in a timely and safe manner which may include “bin to bin” pallets or products to better utilize warehouse slots; They must be proficient in the EWM/SAP system to plan orders, allocate product based on FIFO and customer code requirements and pick orders. They must be proficient on how to load trailers with correct labels, amounts, code dates and units are set to proper temperature prior to loading. Ensure the loads are clean, wrapped properly, placed on the trailer following correct load specifications, finalizing of finished goods trailers. They must be proficient in the Blujay TM system to gate trailers in and out, to appoint loads, to look up loads by reference numbers and print dispatch reports. Take cooler inventories and monitor cooler for proper temperatures. They will work directly with cooler load out/drivers, production, manufacturing, and WWTP personnel to ensure an efficient operation. Will be required to have a forklift license and perform daily forklift inspections. Operate shrink-wrap machine when required. Supply good pallets to all production lines if needed. Work with Palletizers and Cooler staff to ensure an efficient operation and assist as needed. Assist production floor as needed. Maintain all documented information as per SQF requirements. Keep all work areas neat and clean at all times, to conform to GMP and SQF requirements. Understand and follow all safety procedures, always wear proper PPE, and never put yourself or other employees in harm’s way. Must stay until job is completed or relieved. Must perform any other assignments by a Manager, Supervisor, or Foreman. This description is not all inclusive and is subject to change.
