Requirements

  • Continuous interaction with customers and co-workers in a fast-paced environment. Engage in standing/walking 6-8 hours at a time. Includes receiving and stocking of deliveries.
  • Schedule may entail nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent analytic, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Basic computer, math, and data entry skills.
  • Basic filing and record-keeping skills.
  • Comfortable with email and learning new programs.
  • Must pass a required criminal background check.
  • Must be 18 or older.

Nice To Haves

  • Able to multitask and be detail oriented.
  • Being proactive and organized.
  • A background in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work the floor alongside staff to set an example, promote a positive environment, and stay in touch with employees and customers.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous attitude at all times.
  • Drive sales and profits through smart buying, merchandising, inventory management, customer service, and salesmanship.
  • Be aware of the overall state of department displays as well as other displays throughout the store.
  • Refresh and restock a broad selection of products.
